Reverend, I am what you would call a heathen(or whatever word people use now). I don't really like talking about it, but I feel, deep down inside, that there is a god. It makes sense to me and what I do see I love very much. I really mean that.
My problem with Christianity has always been that I think it is foolish and closed-minded to say that a man should put the church's priorities before his own. How can a church speak for god? If man is imperfect, do you think he could articulate divine ideas in a perfect way to anywhere from dozens to hundreds of worshippers? How does that man know what is really needed? If he talks to god, how does he know what god's real intent was? And the power a reverend or a priest has must be overwhelming at times. You are really free to make your followers engage in a whole bunch of different actions.
I have many other grievances, but that is one of my biggest.
So my questions: Is it possible, in your eyes, to live in "the light of god" outside of any church? What is the significance of Jesus himself? I don't really understand why it is necessary that I must "accept" a single man to gain access to god. I don't understand why god would do it that way.
I want you to know that a sincere answer from you will be truly appreciated. I will check back for a response in about a week. Thank you for your time.

much about this, such as you wrote the ebook in it or something.
